Lincoln Electric - Invertec® V350-PRO
« on: November 02, 2009, 06:51:37 PM »
I've been using this machine for roughly 5 months now, and as a welder in training I couldn't possibly ask for a better machine to use while learning. During my time using this machine I have had absolutely no problems at all.

Processes I've used with this machine...

-Stick
-TIG
-Pulsed Arc MIG
-Flux Core
-Air Arc Gouging

I have used just about every process this machine supports and it has been nothing but a smooth ride. You can switch between welding processes with the press of a button. The digital readout on the voltage and amperage settings allows you to fine tune your heat for the perfect weld. The hot start setting allows you to adjust your initial output amperage to easily strike the trickiest of rods. The twist connect work leads allow you to quickly and painlessly connect and reconnect your workloads to swap polarity on the fly. All of this combined with a 100% duty cycle and a 'bulletproof' warranty makes this machine a must for any welder, weather you are new to welding or a veteran in the trade.

Sounds like a great welder.  Unfortunately, i haven't had a chance to run one of those yet.  I am a big fan of the industrial duty inverter welders though, especially when running 7018.

My all time favorite high output inverter welder is millers xmt 304.  I suspect that the v350-pro is pretty similar, albeit a  higher top end output.

Excellent Review, can't way to take one for a spin.   ;D
